When hundreds of thrill-seekers strap into climbing suits every week, laundry becomes more than just background work - it’s mission critical. Recently, Story Bridge Adventure Climb relocated and expanded its operations, offering more climbs and welcoming more visitors than ever before. But with growth came a challenge: their existing laundry setup simply couldn’t keep up.

Their original laundry relied on smaller domestic-style washers and dryers. Ok for a modest number of climbers, but with expanding visitor numbers, the machines couldn’t keep up. Worse, the delicate, high-value climbing suits risked damage without precise water temperature control. For an experience that depends on spotless, professional gear, this wasn’t sustainable.

What could have been a compromise became an opportunity. The team transformed the underground corner into a compact yet high-performing laundry room, engineered specifically for industrial-grade washing.
The new laundry isn’t just about meeting current demand. Every detail of the layout was designed with future-proofing in mind. The space is optimised for:
Adventure climbs are about soaring views and unforgettable moments. Behind the scenes, it takes industrial-strength laundry to make sure every visitor steps into a suit that’s fresh, safe, and ready for the climb of a lifetime.
When the climb got bigger, so did the laundry.
